More than 9 Departments of Kazan State Medical Academy, Kazan State Medical University and Volga Branch of N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center are carrying out educational activity at Tatarstan Regional Clinical Cancer Center, among them: Department of Oncology and Surgery of KSMA, Department of Endoscopy of KSMA, Department of General and Endoscopic Surgery of KSMA, Department Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of KSMA, Department of Urology and Nephrology of KSMA, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology N2 of KSMA, Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Dentistry of KSMU, Department of Surgical Diseases N1 of KSMU, Department of Biomedical Ethics and Medical Legislation of KSMU.

Above mentioned Departments educate both undergraduate medical students so provide high-level post-graduate education, such as internship (for one year), clinical residency (for two years) and PhD fellowship (3-4 years).

There are also upgrade qualifications courses (from 0,5 to 4 months, depending on specialization) organized for selected professional in order to provide continuous medical education.

In the Tatarstan Regional Clinical Cancer Center annually are organized internationally known hands-on master-classes and training courses aimed to share the experience of performing up-to-date surgeries with medical professionals from other countries.
